The Story of Baalbek (City of Baal) , Lebanon Photo Gallery

I was originally just going to include a link to a site which gives the details of Baalbek. But of all the searches I did on this subject I found only a few valid websites. I was absolutely astonished when I first found one of the sites. The part that really amazed me is I had not heard of this place before. I had heard there were temples in Lebanon but nothing of this staggering foundation.
On a side note I am not an archaeologist, my particular expertise is in nuclear science. I am also a computer consultant building computers and networking them as well as tutoring all business softwares & Internet website building. I also believe Jesus Christ was the Son of the Most High God of Abraham. Well enough about me, suffice to say I have researched thousands of archeaological finds via the net.
When I came across the subject of 'Forbidden Archeaology" it reminded me of how little was known about the terrace which all the temples of Baalbek had used for thier foundation.Beneath the temples lay a greater wonder, a huge foundation comprising an area of more than five million square feet and containing more stone than the Great Pyramid at Giza. Now the foundation which is a terrace of monolithic blocks ranging from several tons to 1000 tons. With dimensions which awe inspiring to say the least. The foundation of this magnificent terrace is approximately 5 million-sq. ft. in size. Three colossal stones, known as the Trillithon, are the larger of the the many visible megaliths in the terrace walls. They measure over 60 feet long, with widths of 12 and 14 feet.
We know that the quarry is more than a mile away because a fourth, even larger slab, (left) was cut but then abandoned in the quarry. At 1,050 tons and seventy two feet long, nicknamed "the Monolith" this slab is the largest piece of hewn rock on the face of the earth. Note the man lying on the block, and (below) the person standing on top. By the way all of these photos will open in a new window if clicked.
Also additional details about all the different temples which have used the massive foundation can be found at these links .1. & 2. They are just a couple of sites if anyone knows of additional sites please send the URL to me (webmaster). Even though the area has been wracked with earthquakes at several times in the past which has destroyed temple after temple none of them has affected the foundation.
The reason for the great deal of photos is to preserve the information and photo record for all to see the truly amazing place that Baalbek is. Note the man standing at the base of the retaining wall (left) and notice the two courses of rock above him are like the one (above) ~14ft x 14ft 60ft one of them has even been beveled. This place has been considered a sacred site and was considered ancient 2000 years ago.
Baalbek means 'God (Baal) of the Beqaa', and refers to the fertile Beqaa plain. I recently was reading the book of Enoch and came across this text.
Enoch 10:4 And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light.
Enoch 13:9 I came unto them, and they were all sitting gathered together, weeping in 'Abelsjail, which is between Lebanon and Seneser, with their faces covered.
I felt the perfect place to bury a fallen angel where he could not see light would be below a foundation which even today we could not move. This would also explain how such immense stones could be set in place with the power of angels. Now this may be too much speculation for most people but it would also explain why this massive terrace has had so many pagan temples built on it.
Well believe me my main purpose for this web page is to share with you it's incredible existance. Below is the full text of Enoch a book only included in the Ethiopic & Slavonic Bibles. In case you would like to read about the 'Scribe of righteousness.'
