The Power Of Prayer

The word prayer occurs 114 times, 83 in the old testament, and 31 times in the New Testament.
These are a few examples of them from the New testament.
This section teaches you how to pray and with faith you shall recieve if it is God's will.
John chap 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The Lords Prayer
Matthew chap 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Matthew 17:18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him:
and the child was cured from that very hour.
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you,
If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain,
Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith,
and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree,
but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed,
and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

The power of prayer comes from your faith in God and Jesus strengthened by the Holy Spirit.
Remember this is Jesus God's son speaking in red.

If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed...nothing shall be impossible unto you.
True faith is knowing that if it's God's will it shall be done, not maybe, not conditionally, but shall be done.
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
So what do you have to do to have this power of prayer, believe that Jesus was the Son of the Most High God and that Jesus died for our sins then ask Jesus to forgive you sins and go and sin no more. Add that to having faith that God will answer your prayer. I have created a shared prayer database because of the following verses. I ask only that if you submit a prayer or not, that you add your power to the prayers, by reviewing the shared prayers in our database and adding your prayer power to them in Jesus's Holy Name.
Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:
and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
The only extra understanding I have I attribute to the Holy Spirit working within me. It is also the driving force in creating this interactive website. I give you my blessings in the name of the Lord Jesus for having read this and I hope it helps you with understanding the scriptures. Between my writing this and you reading this Jesus is here with right now. Blessed be the Lord our Saviour.
Amen.

Share a prayer with us and we shall pray with you.
