Look On The Brighter Side..

Have you ever been in a tight spot..
And you just knew it would end bad..
But somehow God made it not so hot..
And then you wonder why you were so sad...

Look on the brighter side of life..
And lean not upon your own understanding..
God is right there in the midde of your strife..
And with him it will be a soft landing..

Take God at his word and hold fast..
For he will always be with you
He takes your hand and helps you cast..
Away you troubles and sorrow and blues..

Look on the brighter side and hold his hand..
He will let you see the humor in your blight..
For if you laugh at the devil & smile in his land..
He can't do anything to you in the night..

God lets us laugh and lets us find peace..
When the enemy tries to cause us pain..
For laughing is what the devil can't release..
And it is what causes him to complain...

He goes before our God to accuse us of sin..
But God knows this man is noting but a liar..
And so he gives us a conforter to win..
Again and again against this devils fire..

Look on the brighter side of the cross..
For Jesus died for you and for me..
He didn't have to go for the lost..
But he loved us so much...don't you see...

Look on the brighter side of deaths glove..
For the body just goes to sleep..
We will be forever with Jesus up above..
And in him we will always be his to keep..
