Chapter 2.) Incredible Evidence From Historical Documents

... A comparison of the discoveries during the last century of historical and archeological research with the statements of the Bible reveals forty-one different kings of Israel and surrounding nations that are confirmed by contemporary inscriptions and documents.
...One of the oldest manuscripts in the world is the Samaritan Pentateuch, an ancient copy of the first five books of the Law, which contained virtually every single word found in the Hebrew text of the Torah...The fact that the Samaritans, the enemies of the Jews, agree with them in accepting the genuineness of the five Books of Moses should prove to any unbiased mind that we have the original unaltered writings of Moses, the great Lawgiver of Israel.
... Dr.Glueck concluded:"As a matter of fact, however,it may be stated categorically that no archeological discovery has ever controverted a Biblical reference.
They have tried to discredit the history of Noah (Utnapishtim) & the flood by saying that the flood story is older than Moses's revelation saying he must have copied it, the sumerian tablets story Gilgamesh very closly resembles the Biblical account and is older. But wait a minute Noah would have still been alive in Gilgamesh's time and may well seem immortal living 960 years (600 at the time of the flood). So it may well be true as being the oldest surviving story of the flood from after the tower of Babel. Which is my point actual records from Noah would be in a pre-flood language and may be unknown to any one else after the tower of Babel.
