Make the will of YHVH/Yashua your own will.
Some people may see the negation of their own will and accepting the will of YHVH as an abdication and surrender of their
autonomy and decision-making capacity. Instead, think of it this way:
Two children receive money for their birthday. The first child runs off to the candy store and toy store, where he spends
all his money. His indulgence in the candy gives him a stomachache, and within several days he no longer has any interest
in the toys, several of which are already broken.
The second child gives the money to his father, who invests it in a fund, which will continue to increase in value.
The first child acted totally according to his own will. The second child also acted according to his own will. He decided
that his father would know better what to do with the money, which would be to his advantage. Is it fair to say that the second
child did not use his free will? Which child was wiser?
We should be aware that our decision making process is subject to our desires for gratification. We may not be able to
recognize that our own will may lead us to do foolish things. We would be wise if, like the second child, we turned our will
over to a much higher intelligence.
